A lot of people do not know the difference between hair type and hair texture. Some think it’s the same thing…it’s not. Hair type refers more to what your curl pattern is such as 4a, 4b, 4c. Hair texture is exactly what it sounds like. Your hair texture is how your hair feels, the thickness or thinness of your hair. For me personally this makes it Hard to find a hair product that works for me. I’ve learned over the years that cream products work for my type hair the best. I have put myself in the 4a/4b hair category. As far as hair texture is concerned, my hair is pretty thick. This explains why my hair loves creme products. Not Knowing your hair type and texture is not the end of the world. As long as you find a good product that works for you that’s all that matters. Keep in mind everything you see someone use on their hair will not always work for you.
